TechATState

connecting technology with opportunity to aid U.S. diplomacy and development

The Office of eDiplomacy will host the next Tech@State on November 30, 2012 at George Washington University's Jack Morton Auditorium and an unconference on the following day at the National Democratic Institute. It's called ElecTech and will focus on technology's impact on elections and the electoral process.

Tech@State:ElecTech will analyze the most recent elections in the U.S. and how technology was used and also will explore how the changes will impact on elections overseas. We will also be taking a deeper dive on how specific technologies are influencing and being used in the electoral process overseas. Electronic voting, visualization and mapping of election results, and leveraging mobile technologies are only a few of the interesting topics we'll be examining at the next Tech@State.

Have any thoughts or ideas? We're interested in your input:

  • What topics would you like to see discussed?
  • Who are the experts we can invite to participate?
  • Any articles or websites on elections and technology that you recommend?
  • How can we make the conference relevant to you and your work?
