- Opportunities to network with orgs involved in using technology for civic engagement, community service and service learning; gaining ideas on using tech for civic engagement so I can transfer these ideas to the State Department exchange program alumni with whom I work. I'd also like to be able to keep abreast of the ever-changing world of web 2.0, and specifically how it relates to civic engagement. My specific interest is social media for social good.
- Why is user need more important than cool tech? Or is it?
- It doesn't really matter how cool, sleek and shiny the tech is if nobody uses it.
