I haven't read that post yet, but do you think this a result of a lack of innovation or some of the regulatory difficulties that some providers find in different countries? I know that in Pakistan the regulatory body overseeing the industry has chosen to limit the mobile banking sector to bank-led models. Do bank-led models generally allow greater freedom for mobile banking providers to innovate?

I know it's probably more complicated than that, but I would still like to hear people's thoughts on the subject or if they could reference any studies on the topic.

The Entertainment industry is moving very aggressively into the moblie market. One of the larger trade groups NARM.com is holding this webinar on Thursday IMHO this will have a huge impact on consumers especially if it is done right.
