The next Tech@State, scheduled for Sept 23-24, will look at data, literally, as we explore new fascinating and innovative visualization techniques. Day 1 of the conference will be held in the Atrium at the Kennedy Center - a wonderful venue! And, the keynote speaker will be Edward Tufte. See Tufte: Beautiful Evidence.
Planning is well underway for the conference and we're filling out the agenda now. But, we still have room for a few more speakers. If you've got recommendations, we'd love to hear from you. Which topics interest you the most? Data visualization can be applied in a variety of ways. How can we best use it to enhance diplomacy, development and foreign affairs?

Tech@State connects tech innovators and those interested in diplomacy and development to enable 21st century statecraft by improving education, health and welfare of the world's population. This site was created by the U.S. State Department's Office of eDiplomacy.
